Translink are toasting the success of Omagh Bus station which has just been awarded a Charter Mark award for outstanding services to the public.
Commenting on the success, Ted Hesketh, Managing Director with Translink explained, “These awards are terrific news for all those who use this local station. This is also a great testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff who have worked to achieve the award”.
He added, “We place a great emphasis on customer care and are committed to providing an excellent service for all our passengers, whether they are travelling on a local town service or further afield. Our aim is to ensure that all services are delivered in a customer led manner. Services for passengers with special needs are of a high standard with access and travel information easily and readily available”.
He concluded, “Receiving this award will motivate our staff to continue to provide a quality service. We are always keen to hear comments and suggestions from our passengers and improve services where we can. We are confident that a comprehensive public transport network will be enjoyed by all”.
