Translink Celebrate Success at CIM Awards

Cinty Stubberfield Translink’s Call Centre Manager and Hilton Parr NI Railways Customer Services Manager are pictured with a new addition for the ‘trophy cabinet’, after the company’s recent success at the CIM Ireland Marketing Awards 2006.
The duo represented the company at the Awards where they were presented with first place for Services Marketing Award. Translink also picked up runner-up certificates in the E-systems and Marketing Communications categories. Success in three prestigious CIM Awards highlights the industry’s recognition of Translink’s investment in its products, services and staff.
The Services Marketing accolade is the icing on the cake for an innovative programme of change which internally promoted a new corporate culture, promoting a new customer orientation which the company is keen to continue, develop and expand. Increases in both passenger numbers and satisfaction levels have benefited from the introduction of this new customer services programme.
The additional recognition of the use of new media to promote Translink’s Student Discount Card and also the acknowledgment Metro’s successful communications strategy highlight that Translink is implementing new strategies and forward thinking to further support its business growth in a rapidly changing environment.
