Translink are proud to support the British and Irish International Cross Country at Stormont which is on Saturday 17th November by providing free buses to bring around 400 athletes to and from the venue.
The event has been organised by the Northern Ireland Veteran Athletic Association who were established in 1973 and will commence with an open race at 11am. On Saturday, Translink have organised for the Athletes to be collected from the Europa Buscentre at 10am and transported across to Stormont for 10.30am. Later that evening they will be returned back to the Europa Buscentre at 3.30pm.
In addition to free transport for the event Translink provided participants from Scotland, Wales, England, Republic of Ireland with a fact sheet on travel information including details of airport services, links and Metro services in order to help them make the most of their stay in Northern Ireland.
