Passengers enjoyed a 'rail' adventure at Portadown Train Station

It was full steam ahead for budding train drivers (l-r) Mathew Westlake, Mark Westlake and Katie Bailie from Lisburn who got some tips from NI Railways Route Manager South, Gerard McAtarsney during the Country Comes to Town steam train excursions brought to the public by NI Railways in association with the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland.

The locomotive, which was originally built in the mid-nineteenth century, transported hundreds of festival-goers into a bygone era letting them take in the beautiful countryside along the route between Portadown and Lisburn.
