North West 200 Rail Services

Saturday 17th May 2008

Return Rail Service from Portrush:

Please Note: Dhu Varren and University halts will be closed between 10am & 8pm.

General Behaviour
We trust all our passengers will enjoy their journey. Passengers are reminded that rowdiness, the singing of “adult” songs or over-indulgence in alcohol can be frightening and offensive to others and we trust you will agree that this is not acceptable. Please bear this in mind and consider the comfort of families and other passengers.

Alcohol Ban
All passengers are reminded that in accordance with our alcohol policy and byelaw 18(3) of the Northern Ireland Railways byelaws, the taking of intoxicating liquor onto any train(s) to or from Portrush (or connecting services) is strictly prohibited. Therefore, the no alcohol (and no smoking) ban will be strictly enforced.
Passengers who are, in our opinion, clearly intoxicated will not be allowed to board, or remain on, the train.

Failure to comply with any of the above points will result in appropriate measures being taken against the offenders. The maximum penalty is £1000.

Please note that CCTV will be in operation and may be used as evidence during prosecution.
