Station Improvement Works - NIR - Translink
As part of our commitment to deliver a better rail service, we carry out ongoing station enhancement work.
Any work due to take place will be detailed below (last updated 10.03.10):
- Ballymena
Work to upgrade the cladding in the subway will commence on Tuesday 9 March. Access to both platforms will not be affected. However, the lifts will be closed for a short period. The lift serving the Ballymena-Belfast platform will be out of order from Thursday 18 March until Friday 26 March. The lift serving the Ballymena-Coleraine platform will be out of order from Monday 29 March until Wednesday 7 April. - Bangor West
The path via Shaftesbury Road will be closed from 15 March 2010 for approximately 12 weeks. Access to Bangor West Station is via main entrance off Bryansburn Road. - Botanic
Work is currently being carried out to extend Platform 1 at Botanic Train Station. There are no closures of Platform 1 scheduled currently. - Castlerock
The platform for services in the Derry direction will be closed until further notice for essential repair works (except for the 1743 and 1906 services to Derry, Mon – Fri). For all other services, passengers should use the opposite platform for journeys in both directions.
