We are committed to ensuring that our services, facilities and passenger information are accessible for all our customers.
- Timetables are available from local bus and rail stations or you can visit our website, click www.translink.co.uk, or call the Translink Call Centre for timetable information on all Metro, NI Railways and Ulsterbus services, (028) 90 66 66 30.
- Timetables are available in large print and on disk on request. Please ask at your local bus or rail station or write to the Marketing Department, Translink, Central Station, East Bridge Street, Belfast, BT1 3PB.
- New bus and train stations have been purposefully designed to have all facilities on one level, tactile flooring and wheelchair accessible toilets. A Guide to Accessible Transport in Northern Ireland ‘Getting Out and About’ is available from Inclusive Mobility and Transport Advisory Committe (IMTAC), Enterprise House, 55-59 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8FE. - Further station enhancement works have been carried out on the NI Railways network throughout 2007 / 2008.
- Low-floor buses are in operation on Ulsterbus and Metro services making boarding easier for passengers with particular needs. Details of where low floor buses operate are available from the Translink website journey planner www.translink.co.uk, or in printed timetables, from the Translink Call Centre, call (028) 90 66 66 30.
- Access to all trains can be made by steps or passenger ramps. Please contact NI Railways before you wish to travel.
- Translink’s website www.translink.co.uk adheres to WAI / W3C accessibility guidelines, ensuring it complies with disability-aware design guidelines and can also be accessed in ‘low graphic’ format. It includes timetable and journey planner information.
We continue to develop our website to make it inclusive for all visitors. It can now be used with Browsealoud.
