Special Bus Services
We operate a number of special bus services which includes:
Rural Transport: In association with the Department for Regional Development, Translink operates services in rural areas. They are designed to provide access to the nearest market town and to make it easier to get out and about at evenings and the weekends. To find out more about rural transport services contact your nearest Ulsterbus station.
The Rural Transport Fund (RTF) was established in 1998 to help and encourage more people to use public transport in rural areas. It has been described as “the flagship transportation initiative in promoting social inclusion in rural areas.
